Doctor
Dr. Paula E Parker , DVM Owner, graduated ISU in 1983. Dr. Parker has five cats and three dogs. Enjoys roses, and antique chocolate molds. She grows a large garden, has a pond and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rio Linda/Elverta Recreation and Park District
Dr. Karen Rauhaus , DVM Dr. Rauhaus has been employed since 2002. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2001 with a DVM. Dr. Rauhaus also has a BSN degree from University of Iowa that was obtained in 1979. She has two cats and enjoys hiking, kayaking, horseback riding and playing softball.
Matt Prator , DVM Employed since August 2008. Dr. Prator graduated from UC Davis in 2001. He has 2 dogs. In is spare time he likes restoring old trucks, water skiing and hiking in the Sierras.
Management Technician
Jean , RVT,VDT Employed since June 1996. Graduated Western Career College 1996 and passed the State board exam for Veterinary Technician March of 1997. Jean has three daughters, four cats and two dogs. She is involved with Bobby Sox Softball, and involved with her church. In her spare time she loves camping and fishing and playing softball.
Tanisia , RVT,VDT Employed since 1998. Graduated Western Career College with an AS degree in Veterinary Technology. Tanisia has two cats and one dog.
Melissa , RVT
Employed since 8/06. Melissa graduated WCC in 2007. She has 1 cat and enjoys reading and writing.
Reception
Jane Employed since December 2000. Currently attending CSU Sacramento a degree in Kinesiology is expected in the spring of 2007. Jane has four cats, a turtle and fish. She enjoys snowboarding.
Stephanie
Debbie Debbie has been employed since 7/07. She has 3 dogs and 3 horses. Debbie also does Chihuahua Rescue and Horse Rescue.

Samantha Our youngest employee. Started in July 2007. She is a sophmore (10th grade) at Rio Linda High School. She has grown up with animals and has always loved to come to work with her mom (Jean) since she was 4 years old. She is very active in her church and loves to play softball and volleyball. She plans on going to college to be an orthodontist.
